What Would Martin Say?
Staff often take pictures during library programs. The library uses photos in its publicity, on social media, and on its website. If you do not want your photo used, please leave a message in the comment and we will honor that request. If you have any questions email Cathy DeCampli at cdecampli@haddonfieldlibrary.org.
Make your own woven basket or planter using the historical art form of coil basket weaving. In this two-hour workshop, each student will learn the coiling technique and explore variations in size, shape, and color.
Age ranges are selected with great care. A young child unable to participate in an activity without assistance takes the staff member's attention away from the rest of the group and can impact the experience of the other participants. We also strive to create micro-communities with each program we offer by creating a space for young people to be with their peers. We ask that you respect the age groups in the program descriptions.
This is a safe space for LGBTQ teens and allies. We discuss the day's issues, participate in creative projects, listen to informative speakers, and do whatever else we feel like.
The library is pleased to participate in the borough's Lunar New Year celebration. Visit us and our partner the Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School in King's Court.
Come enjoy a hot cup of coffee and chat with friends new and old. Hot water for tea will also be available.
We cannot guarantee that food served at this program has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy, or other allergens.
Please join us for a mindfulness workshop at the library. This will be an introduction to mindfulness and its benefits with experiential exercises that participants can incorporate into their daily lives.
