Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a conversation with Linda Armstead, moderated by Haddonfield Education Association Events Chair, Stacey Brown-Downham, and presented in collaboration with the Preserving Black Haddonfield History Project.

Ms. Armstead is “a true Haddonfield girl.”  She hails from a Legacy Family.  The former School #4 (one of two of the town’s segregated schools) has been her residence for her entire life.  In PRESERVE:  NARRATIVES FROM HISTORIC HADDONFIELD’S AFRICAN-AMERCAN COMMUNITY she recounts her experience as a Haddonfield Memorial High School Drama Club President, Madrigal singer, marching band member, and more.
