Guest speaker Dr. Maurice Jackson is a professor at Georgetown University and the author of numerous books about African Americans, including "Quakers and Their Allies in the Abolitionist Cause,1754-1808" and "Halfway to Freedom: The Struggles and Strivings of Black Folk in Washington, DC."
