Program Description

Event Details

Please join us for a mindfulness workshop at the library. This will be an introduction to mindfulness and its benefits with experiential exercises that participants can incorporate into their daily lives. Attendees of the workshop will learn what mindfulness is and the importance of noticing our internal and external world.

This workshop will be led by Dr. Jiang.

Dr. Jiang (or Dr. J to many of her clients) is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and the founder of South Jersey Mental Health, LLC, located in Mount Laurel, NJ. Her past experiences consist of conducting individual, couples, and family therapy in outpatient clinics, working with clients from the age of 5 to 65. She is especially passionate about working with individuals who experience anxiety and depression in their lives as well as those undergoing difficult life transitions such as grief and traumatic loss. In her work, she integrates cognitive behavioral interventions within the context of mindfulness and acceptance. She has presented to local high school students, teachers, and mental health providers on the benefits of mindfulness.
