Event Details
Join us at the library for a night with Haddonfield resident Buntzie Churchill. Ms. Churchill will give a retrospective on her years at the World Affairs Council in Philadelphia and her insider stories of the people and ideas that have shaped the world.
"During my 23-year tenure as President of the World Affairs Council, the Council became one of the top ten podia in the nation. Who were the best speakers, the worst, the most pleasant, and the most difficult, from an incredible cast including Margaret Thatcher and Mikhail Gorbachev (in the same month!). I led tours to over 50 countries. What were the challenges, the rewards, the unmentionables? And, what were the most memorable puns?."
