This walking tour aims to strengthen Haddonfield's reputation as a welcoming town by amplifying and preserving its long-overlooked African-American residents, their descendants, businesses, and other institutions.

Registrants meet at Centennial Field Spectator Stand, 20 Park Place, Haddonfield, NJ. Complimentary parking is available at Acme market at the intersection of Ellis Street and Haddon Avenue.  

The rain date is February 24.

Headsets will be available for hearing-impaired registrants (courtesy of the Historical Society of Haddonfield).

Suggested cash donations of $10 will be collected on-site. 

Following the tour, the Haddonfield Public Library will host Ellen Alford, author of Abolition and the Underground Railroad in South Jersey: Not Without a Fight. Registration for that event can be found here.
