Event Details
In a world marked by rising workplace demands, persistent health inequities, and ongoing social injustice, conversations about work-life balance are no longer optional; they are essential. Yet balance is often framed as a personal time-management issue rather than a systemic and leadership challenge.
This presentation reframes work-life balance as a matter of sustainability, purpose, and health. Drawing on research in occupational stress, health equity, and leadership well-being from her forthcoming book, Health Disparities and Social Justice: How Policies, Practices, and Injustice Define Health in America, Dr. Patti explores how chronic stress, especially in high-performing environments, can erode clarity, energy, and long-term impact.
Attendees will leave with practical strategies to reduce stress, reconnect to purpose, and lead in ways that sustain both excellence and personal health, without becoming distracted from the work that matters most.
