Unleash your creativity and dive into the exciting world of coding! Our Code Club is designed for kids in grades 4-8 who are curious about technology and eager to explore how computers work. Whether you're a beginner or have some coding experience, this club offers a supportive and fun environment to learn, create, and innovate.
Each week, coders will work independently on whatever interests them. Whether it's creating a game or building a website, there is something for everyone. Along the way, kids will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills that will set them up for success in the digital age.
Join us to make friends, learn new skills, and discover the power of coding! No prior experience needed—just your imagination and excitement to learn.
Please note: The library has a limited number of Chromebooks available. If you require a Chromebook, please leave a note in your registration. Attendance is not required at all meetings; just sign up for the days that work for you.
Let’s code, create, and have fun!
Additional Information
Age Groups
Age ranges are selected with great care. A young child unable to participate in an activity without assistance takes the staff member's attention away from the rest of the group and can impact the experience of the other participants. We also strive to create micro-communities with each program we offer by creating a space for young people to be with their peers. We ask that you respect the age groups in the program descriptions.
Photo Permission
Event staff may take photos or videos during programs and activities. These images may be used for publicity, social media, websites, or other promotional materials. If you prefer not to have your photo used, please note that in the comments or inform a staff member, and we will honor your request. For questions or concerns, please contact Cathy DeCampli at cdecampli@haddonfieldlibrary.org.
